Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closures
- Prepare journal entries, general ledger reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and MIS reports
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and controls
- Manage statutory compliances such as GST, TDS, and related filings
- Support internal, statutory, and tax audits and resolve audit queries
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and accounting standards
- Coordinate with internal teams and stat auditor
- Coordinate with banking partners to support banking relationships, financing activities, documentation, and ongoing compliance requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Chartered Accountant – Qualified or (Semi-Qualified CA also preferred)
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, or taxation
- Articleship and corporate finance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP systems, including Tally and Zoho
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and professional integrity
