Collect, clean, validate and integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., SCADA/monitoring systems, spreadsheets, project databases, financial systems) and ensure data quality and consistency.
Analyse generation, consumption and performance data of solar systems to calculate metrics such as specific yield (kWh/kWp), performance ratio (PR), losses, downtime and forecast future generation.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports (using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Excel) for operational teams, sales teams and management to monitor KPIs, project status and financial performance.
Identify patterns, trends, abnormalities (e.g., drop in generation, higher losses, system downtime) and highlight improvement opportunities for O&M teams and project managers.
Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, sales, finance) to translate business questions into analytical tasks, deliver insights and support strategic decisions (for example: whether to expand a solar plant, optimise module/inverter selection, target new markets).
Automate repeated data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) processes, and implement best practices for data handling and reporting.
Support forecasting and scenario analysis (e.g., projecting generation under different irradiation or module degradation assumptions) and provide inputs into financial models of solar projects.
Maintain documentation of data flows, assumptions, models, and ensure data governance and security compliance.
