Electrical Engineer – Solar Design & Calculations
About the Job
We are hiring an Electrical Engineer – Solar Design & Calculations to design, optimize, and validate electrical systems for innovative solar installations such as Solar Trees, Solar Tiles, and BIPV solutions. The role involves end-to-end system design for government tenders and commercial projects, ensuring safety, performance, and compliance with national standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design and simulate grid-tied, hybrid, and off-grid solar systems
- Perform load analysis, cable sizing, inverter selection, and protection design
- Prepare SLDs, wiring layouts, and bill of materials
- Ensure compliance with IS/IEC codes, DISCOM, and MNRE guidelines
- Collaborate with tendering and project teams on technical submissions
