Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated ESG Operations & Implementation Intern who will assist our team across all stages of ESG delivery — from documentation and data collection to coordination, tracking, and reporting.
This role is execution-focused and ideal for candidates who want hands-on exposure to ESG consulting and sustainability projects, especially in the MSME and industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. ESG Readiness & Assessment Support
- Collect basic company information using ESG checklists
- Coordinate with MSME clients for documents and data
- Maintain ESG data folders and trackers
- Support ESG gap assessment documentation
2. ESG Policy & Documentation Support
- Assist in formatting ESG policies (Environment, Social, Governance)
- Update SOPs and templates
- Track internal and client approvals
- Maintain document version control
3. Certification & Audit Coordination
- Coordinate with ISO / ZED / audit partners for schedules
- Prepare and manage audit document checklists
- Track certification status and follow-ups
(Note: Intern will not perform audits or technical interpretations)
4. Energy, Solar & Sustainability Support
- Collect electricity bills and basic energy data
- Support solar project coordination and site visit scheduling
- Update simple energy and savings trackers
5. ESG Monitoring & Internal Operations
- Update ESG progress and compliance trackers
- Assist in preparing non-statutory ESG summary reports
- Support proposal preparation and presentations
- Maintain client-wise ESG documentation
Who Should Apply
- Students or fresh graduates in:
- Environmental Studies
- Sustainability
- Engineering / Management / Commerce
- Energy / Climate-related fields (preferred, not mandatory)
- Good working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
- Comfortable with documentation and coordination work
- Professional communication skills
- Willingness to learn and work in a startup environment
