Job description & requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, simulation.
  2. Develop power conditioning and DC output control electronics (DC-DC converters, MPPT).
  3. Perform thermal and electrical performance testing and data analysis.
  4. Ensure system reliability and durability in harsh and remote environments.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, thermal, electronics, field deployment).

Required Skills & Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor's or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.
  2. Hands-on experience with integration and testing.
  3. Knowledge of heat transfer, Seebeck effect, and power electronics.
  4. Experience with simulation tools (COMSOL Multiphysics, ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink).
  5. Familiarity with biomass combustion or gasification systems (desirable).
  6. Experience with embedded systems and control algorithms for energy management.
  7. Proficiency in prototyping, instrumentation, and data acquisition.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in renewable energy systems, rural electrification, or clean tech projects.
  2. Knowledge of safety protocols in thermal-electrical systems.
  3. Field deployment experience in off-grid or rural energy solutions.
  4. Ability to design for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and rugged operation.

1. Product Development Department

A. R&D Engineer (Energy Systems) - 2

  1. Research materials and device design.
  2. Conduct feasibility studies and prototype development.
  3. Optimize electricity conversion efficiency.

B. Mechanical Design Engineer - 2

  1. Design enclosures, heat sinks, and integration.
  2. Conduct thermal management and structural integrity analysis.
  3. Develop CAD models and BOM (Bill of Materials).

C. Electrical/Power Electronics Engineer - 2

  1. Design power conditioning circuits (DC-DC converters, voltage regulators).
  2. Implement MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking).
  3. Ensure electrical safety, grounding, and surge protection.

D. Materials Scientist - 2

  1. Evaluate and suggest materials based on environment.
  2. Assess longevity and degradation under field conditions.

E. Simulation Engineer - 2

  1. Model thermal and electrical behavior (e.g., using COMSOL, ANSYS).
  2. Perform CFD analysis for heat flow and energy efficiency.

2. Prototyping and Testing Department

A. Lab Technician / Test Engineer - 2

  1. Set up test benches for modules and subsystems.
  2. Conduct controlled performance testing.

B. QA/QC Engineer – 2

  1. Develop test protocols and quality control measures.
  2. Ensure system meets operational safety and performance standards.

3. Product Engineering & Manufacturing Department

A. Manufacturing Engineer - 2

  1. Design assembly processes and fixture tools.
  2. Optimize for DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and scalability.

B. Supply Chain / Procurement Manager - 2

  1. Source the compatible components.
  2. Manage vendor relationships and logistics.

C. Industrial Designer (optional)

  1. Improve ergonomic design, portability, and user interface.

4. Deployment and Commissioning Stage

A. Field Engineer / Commissioning Engineer - 2

  1. Install and configure TMSG-DC system in rural/remote locations.
  2. Integrate with local biomass input and verify generator output.

B. Project Manager - 2

  1. Coordinate logistics, installation timelines, and stakeholder communication.
  2. Track milestones from manufacturing to field deployment.

C. Field Technician - 2

  1. Handle on-site wiring, module mounting, and troubleshooting.
  2. Perform field-level diagnostics and ensure successful startup.

5. Post-Commissioning: Monitoring & Support Department

A. Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer – 2

  1. Establish routine maintenance procedures.
  2. Provide technical support and upgrades over time.

B. Data Analyst / IoT Specialist – 2

  1. Monitor system performance remotely using sensors/data loggers.
  2. Analyze efficiency and failure patterns for continuous improvement.

6. Cross-Cutting Roles

A. Product Manager – 2

  1. Own the product lifecycle, from ideation to go-to-market.
  2. Align product features with user needs and sustainability goals.

B. Regulatory & Compliance Officer – 2

  1. Ensure the system complies with energy, environmental, and safety standards (e.g., CE, IEC, BIS).

C. Business Development / Partnerships Lead – 2

  1. Identify use-cases (e.g., rural electrification, disaster zones).
  2. Build partnerships with local governments, NGOs, and microgrid operators.
