As our Founding Engineer, you will work directly with the CTO and play a critical role in shaping the product, architecture, and engineering culture.
You will be expected to drive delivery in an Agile environment, balancing speed, quality, and scalability.
You will own execution across web, mobile, backend, cloud, and AI/ML integrations.
This is a high-ownership, high-impact role suited for a go-getter who thrives in ambiguity and believes in sustainability-led innovation.
Responsibilities
Engineering & Architecture
- Design and build scalable frontend, backend, and mobile solutions
- Develop and maintain:
- Desktop Web
- Mobile Web
- Android & iOS apps
- Own API design, data models, and integrations
- Architect systems that support AI/ML pipelines and data-driven features
Agile Delivery & Ownership
Work in Agile sprints with clear goals, estimates, and deliverables
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Break down AI & Product requirements into executable tasks and stories
Drive continuous improvement in development and delivery processes
AI / ML Responsibilities
Design, integrate, and productionize AI/ML solutions, including:
Recommendation systems
Classification & tagging
Forecasting & optimization
Intelligent automation
Work with:
Python-based ML stacks (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch – any)
APIs from cloud AI providers (AWS, OpenAI, etc.)
Build data pipelines to support training, inference, and monitoring
Ensure model performance, scalability, and explainability
Code Quality & Scale
- Enforce clean code practices
- Conduct code reviews for interns
- Maintain technical documentation (APIs, architecture, onboarding)
- Ensure future scalability and maintainability
Cloud, Security & Reliability
- Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS (or equivalent)
- Implement:
- Secure authentication & authorization
- Protection against DDoS, malware, and common web vulnerabilities
- Monitor uptime, logs, alerts, performance and AI inference costs
QA & Automation
- Collaborate with QA intern to:
- Define test strategy including AI feature validation
- Enable automation (unit, integration, regression)
- Ensure production-grade releases within Agile release cycles
Leadership
- Mentor interns technically across engineering and AI/ML fundamentals and professionally
- Take ownership of delivery timelines
- Think strategically, not just tactically

Frontend
- React / Next.js / Vue (any strong modern framework)
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / TypeScript
- Responsive & mobile-first design
Backend
- Node.js / Python / Java (any strong backend stack)

- Python for ML workflows
