PURPOSE
Companies will not act on nature risk if the next step is unclear. This role turns assessment and benchmark insights into a structured menu of credible mitigation options, delivery partners, and implementation pathways.
The mandate is to move from diagnosis to action: curated partners, comparable options, and implementation pathways that buyers can actually use.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL OWN
- Mitigation solution provider partnerships across nature, water, soil, biodiversity, circularity, regenerative supply chains, and related intervention areas.
- Partner onboarding, curation, due diligence, and quality management.
- Structured solution pathways that connect company risks to practical mitigation options.
- Delivery playbooks for moving from assessment to action plan to partner execution.
- Coordination with Demand, Product, and Conservation leads to make mitigation options visible in buyer workflows and tools.
- Ongoing partner ecosystem development as new buyer needs emerge.
FIRST 90 DAYS
- Landscape - Build a first landscape of mitigation-solution categories and credible providers.
- Curation - Define onboarding criteria and a simple quality / fit framework for partners.
- Pathways - Translate NII / NVaR-style insights into action pathways for 2-3 priority sectors or risk types.
- Pilot - Create a repeatable mitigation-options template and test it with one live buyer or project pathway.
WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE
- Urvara can move from "here is your nature risk" to "here is what you can do next."
- Mitigation partners are curated, not merely listed.
- Buyer conversations become more concrete because solutions are packaged and comparable.
- The partner ecosystem becomes a defensible operating asset for Urvara.
IDEAL PROFILE
- 5-10+ years across sustainability implementation, climate / nature solutions, enterprise partnerships, supply-chain transformation, consulting, program management, or marketplace operations.
- Strong commercial and operational judgment about what providers can actually deliver.
- Good at structuring messy solution spaces into clear categories, workflows, and partner propositions.
- Bonus: water, agriculture, land, biodiversity, nature-based solutions, ESG services, or enterprise sustainability procurement.
NOT A FIT IF
- You want to only advise, not build delivery systems.
- You are satisfied with generic vendor lists.
- You cannot translate complex sustainability problems into practical action pathways.
SHARED BAR
- Builder mindset: willing to create the first version of systems, not just operate mature ones.
- High ownership: can turn ambiguity into priorities, documents, conversations, and shipped artifacts.
- Strong writing: proposals, follow-ups, partner notes, specs, rubrics, and internal memos must be crisp.
- Domain humility: can work across nature, business, finance, data, and field realities without pretending any one lens is enough.
- Low-ego collaboration: the first team is small; everyone will sell, write, coordinate, and fix broken workflows.
Bottom line: build the first repeatable system, not just the first successful example.
