Role Overview
We are seeking a Sustainability Analyst with a strong foundation in MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification), GHG accounting, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The role is ideal for candidates starting their careers in sustainability and impact measurement, eager to work on real-world projects involving carbon accounting, impact assessments, and climate finance frameworks such as Gold Standard for the Global Goals (GS4GG).
Key Responsibilities
- Support GHG accounting and emissions analysis for clients across sectors.
- Contribute to MRV documentation and carbon credit project assessments.
- Conduct life cycle assessments (LCA) and interpret results for reporting.
- Map organizational initiatives to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Assist in data analysis, visualization, and reporting using ATBI’s proprietary tools.
- Research emerging sustainability standards, methodologies, and regulatory updates.
- Collaborate with the product and advisory teams to enhance MRV and impact-tracking modules.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of GHG Protocol, IPCC methodologies, and MRV processes.
- Exposure to life cycle assessment tools (e.g., OpenLCA, SimaPro) or carbon accounting platforms.
- Understanding of sustainability frameworks such as SDGs and GS4GG.
- Strong analytical and writing skills; proficiency in any one of Tableau, Power BI, or MS Excel.
- Passion for climate action, environmental data, and sustainable development.
