Job overview
Support monitoring and validation of regenerative agricultural projects. Responsible for bringing geo-spatial data and analytics solutions for regenerative agriculture.
Responsibilities and duties
- To develop applications for regenerative agriculture monitoring and validation
- Discover patterns and trends in satellite imagery data for tillage detection, field flooding detection, variable rate nitrogen advisory, crop & yield mapping, etc.
- Data analysis for agriculture systems using AI/ ML techniques and methodologies
- Monitor project progress and adjust as needed to ensure the data and analysis meets necessary standards
- Communicate technical scientific findings to non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
Ph.D. or Masters degree in relevant fields with 5+ years of relevant industry experience

Desirable qualities
- Familiarity of regenerative and conservation agriculture systems and climate change issues in agriculture
- Well-versed in handling and processing both radar and optical satellite data
- Possess strong research skills, including the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret satellite data effectively, and contribute meaningfully to research activities.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Google Earth Engine.
- Experience with carbon standards and creation of Project Design Documents
- Good communication, time, and resource management
