We are looking for a highly result-oriented SEO professional who can take complete ownership
of organic search growth for our sustainable beauty startup. This role requires someone who is
aggressive in execution, data-driven in decision-making, and consistent in delivering
measurable improvements in keyword rankings, product visibility, and organic traffic. The ideal
candidate should be comfortable being held accountable for weekly progress and long-term
impact.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, execute, and continuously optimise comprehensive SEO strategies to drive
sustained growth in organic traffic, keyword rankings, and product visibility.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research and optimise website pages, blogs, landing pages,
and product listings to improve relevance, rankings, and conversions.
• Plan and execute on-page and off-page SEO, including high-quality backlink acquisition,
outreach, and content-led link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
• Work closely with content teams to create and optimise SEO-driven blogs, guides, and
educational contentaligned with brand positioning and search intent.
• Monitor and improve technical SEO, including site structure, crawlability, indexing, page
speed, mobile optimisation, and overall site health through regular audits.
• Track, analyse, and report weekly SEO performance, clearly demonstrating
improvements in keyword rankings, search visibility, organic traffic, and product
discovery.
• Use data and insights to identify gaps, opportunities, and competitor strategies, and
aggressively act on them to gain search advantage.
• Stay updated with algorithm updates, SEO trends, and best practices, adapting
strategies proactively rather than reactively.
• Prepare clear, actionable reports and present progress, learnings, and next steps to
management.
Preferred Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as an SEO Executive or SEO Manager with a strong track record of
measurable results, including ranking improvements, traffic growth, and increased
organic visibility.
• Hands-on expertise in keyword research, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, backlink
strategies, content optimisation, and SEO-led blogging.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, including site audits and
performance optimisation.
• Working knowledge of Shopify, including product page optimisation, collections, site
structure, apps, and performance considerations.
• Experience or working knowledge of Google Ads is an added advantage, especially for
aligning paid search insights with organic growth strategies.
• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search
Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.
• Ability to measure, interpret, and communicate progress weekly, with a clear focus on
outcomes rather than just activities.
• Highly self-driven, execution-focused, and accountable, with a mindset geared toward
growth and impact.
• Strong communication (English) skills, experience with content, attention to detail, and
the ability to manage multiple SEO initiatives simultaneously.
